Fin Setup

The Krypton is made with a five fin system due to its versatility and can be used as a thruster or quad, depending on the conditions.

 

Lamination

Boards 5'0 to 6'4 - standard lamination with 2x 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom. Boards 6'6 and up - standard lamination with 6oz. + 4oz. deck and 4 oz. bottom.

 

Rail

The Krypton has a very specific rail that edges towards the nose and tail that keeps the board connected to the wave.

 

Tail

At the back, the outline is pulled into a rounded pintail, creating a lot of curve with the back foot. This not only offers a lot of safety in bigger waves, but also allows you to draw tighter arcs in the pocket.

 

Concave

V entry for a smooth single and then a double V for the tail gives the board great speed and rail-to-rail control.

 

Rocker
