​The Gromster model was influenced by Xtreme Surfboards models such as the M-4 and Flying Cat V2, to create a Shortboard for groms who want to take their surfing to the next level. The Gromster high performance board combines a rocker with medium entry and a more accentuated kick tail for glide speed in critical situations in the wave pocket. The Gromster is excellent for groms who have already surfed hybrids and want to increase their surfing level.

 

CHARACTERISTICS

 

Fin Setup

The Gromster is made with a basic thruster, but it also works very well on a quad, depending on the conditions.

 

Lamination

Boards 4'8 to 5'6 - standard lamination with 2x 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom.

 

Rail

Gromster has a mid-down rail to grip the wave wall and allow for more aggressive maneuvers.

 

Tail

The Gromster is made with a base squash tail, which allows tight turns and bolder maneuvers even in larger waves.

 

Concave

Gromster has a single concave for a smooth double on top of the fins, offering a perfect balance between speed and control, even in large waves.

 

Rocker

A medium rocker in which the last 3 inches of the nose have been raised to prevent getting stuck at the entrance of the wave and also a slight kick tail to make it easier to release during maneuvers. The behavior of this rocker curve is tested and approved in the most varied wave conditions for high performance surfing.
