​The Salmon is a performance quad fish. This board was developed for surfing summer waves, but with the performance of a shortboard. The quad fin system allows you to have the speed of a twin but with added control.

Fin Setup

The Salmon is made on a quad basis.

 

Lamination

Boards 5'6 to 6'5 - standard lamination with 2x 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom.

 

Rail

The Salmon has a medium, forgiving rail for controlled surfing on rail-to-rail transitions.

 

Tail

Swallow tail, this being the tail most used on Fish boards. The swallow allows you to glide faster and because it is tighter, it allows you to maneuver more easily. The swallow grips curves well even in bigger waves because it works like two pin tails together. This tail gives a lot of speed without compromising traction.

 

Concave

V along the entire board with a double concave accentuated in the fin area. The double makes maneuvering easier while the V allows quick rail-to-rail transitions.

 

Rocker

Flat rocker for easy wave entry and quick glide.
