The Teardrop is a board that takes cutbacks and bottom turns to another level due to the ease of turning that the V-shaped exit on the tail provides. This model can be surfed in a smaller size than usual due to its volume and versatility. The Teardrop is a very stable board that can be used in practically all conditions.

Fin Setup

The Teardrop is made with a basic Single fin, but also works very well in 2+1 or quad, depending on the conditions.

 

Lamination

Boards 6'0 to 7'2 - standard lamination with 6oz. + 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom. Boards 7'4 and up - standard lamination with 6oz. + 4oz. deck and 6oz. bottom.

 

Rail

Teardrop has a medium to low rail that allows you to rail surf with ease.

 

Tail

The Teardrop is made with a round pin, offering a feeling of freedom in terms of maneuvers and providing enough support in hollow and steep waves. It is more versatile than the pin tail because the extra area will provide speed in slower sections of the wave.

 

Concave

The combination of a Single at the nose entrance and V until the tail exit guarantees stability and ease of turning.

 

Rocker

Low rocker that gives great paddling power for easy wave entry.
